We hire many individuals for part-time and on-call work in our port cities.
Positions include:
• meet and greet staff members who help direct guests through security or check in lines at the piers,
• staff members greeting guests at the airport,
• managing the motor coach orders and assisting guests at the pier, and
• individuals with computer skills, examine guest IDs and boarding documents, check-in the cruise guests at the pier where the guests are handed their stateroom keys.
Some of our cities operate only seasonally. For instance the cruise season in Seattle is approximately the beginning of May until the end of September each year for the Alaska summer cruises.
Cruise ships generally travel 4-, 5-, 7- or 10-day itineraries. We know the cruise schedules and will schedule staff needs well in advance. Our staff members are expected to work weekends if ship schedules require.
